If you have been out in the universe lately, perhaps you have come across the hot honey sensation popping up everywhere. I may be late joining this bandwagon, but I recently tried a hot honey chicken sandwich at a local restaurant and fell madly in love. I had to come right home and create my own version and not to toot my own horn but I nailed it on the very first try and I am so excited to share it with you! This sauce can be used any way that you would use bbq or wing sauce. Try it on chicken, wings, shrimp, pork, or even veggies. It is PERFECT balance of sweet and spice!

Ingredients:

8 Tablespoons butter

1/4 Cup Sriracha sauce

1/4 Cup Texas Pete hot sauce ( or comparable hot sauce)

1/2 Cup honey

1/2 Brown Sugar

5 cloves of garlic, minced

2 Tablespoons soy sauce

Directions:

Combine all ingredients into a sauce pan and bring to a simmer over a medium/medium high heat whisking regularly. Once bubbling, simmer for about tree minutes until all the ingredients are fully melted and combined. That's it! Toss over your favorite meat or veggies and enjoy!
