Flatbread ( Naan)

This Recipe will make 8 large round flatbreads ( dinner plate sized) but you could make these any size you would like and the quantity the recipe would yield would then be dependent on the size you make. This recipe also doubles nicely, so if you need more feel free to double it! Nothing is better than homemade bread of any kind! Once you make your own flatbread, you'll never want the packaged stuff again.
Ingredients:
3 Cups flour
1/2 Cup warm water
2 Teaspoons Yeast
1 Teaspoon sugar
1/3 Cup thick plain yogurt ( full fat is best) sour cream can be substituted
1 Large eggs
1/4 Cup olive oil
Pinch of salt
Directions:
Combine water, sugar and yeast
Let bloom for five minutes
Add yogurt, egg, and olive oil
Mix well
Add salt and flour 1 cup at a time, using dough hook or equivalent equipment for your mixer
Knead for 5 minutes
Cover and let rise 1 hour
Punch down dough
Divide into 8 equal pieces
On a lightly floured surface, roll out each piece of dough into a dinner plate sized circle (about 9 inches across)
Heat a large pan, skillet or cast iron over a medium high heat
Once the pan is nice and hot, add rolled dough one at a time
Cook one minute on each side
Repeat until all the flatbreads are cooked
